* Riding Club / Nakajima Turnier Stall

This Club was established in 1978 and a pioneering one in German Horsemanship of Japan. Trying to establish the equestrianism which is faithful to the basics, the Club has been managed under the policy of allowing as many people as possible can enjoy horseback riding easily. In addition, as all horses in this Club are owned by the Club itself, every member can ride on these horses fairly. Also, the rate system is so reasonable that the annual membership fee of 10,500 yen seems to be a monthly fee. Moreover, you need not pay the annual fee in and after the 4th year. The Club will drive you to and from JR Tomobe Station or Otsuka Bus Stop of   Tokyo-Mito Express Bus Line   based on the reservation. For detail, call 029-292-6753. Closed on Tuesday.

* Riding Club / CRANE IBARAKI

CRANE, which was established in 1971 and has 31 clubs in Japan now, is the largest riding club network in Japan. (Actually, the owner of this HP, TOSHI, used to be a member of CRANE.)
In particular, CRANE IBARAKI was opened in 2008, the newest one of all Clubs of CRANE.
Unfortunately, membership system is adopted, it's imperative to be a member to enjoy riding here. However, if you stay here, for example, a year or two, it may be worth being a member. It's located in Tsukuba city, and Banpaku-Kinenkoen(Station No.18) station of Tsukuba Express (TX) Line is the closest one to the Club. If you make a reservation, club agent will come to the station and pick you up for free. Call 029-861-8867. Closed on Tuesday, and Wednesday morning.

* Riding Club / CRANE RYUGASAKI

CRANE opened a riding club at Ryugasaki in 1996. (Actually, I, TOSHI, had practiced show jumping here. It brings back memories !) Now, the riding grounds have been enlarged than before. With cherry trees being planted along the fence of the riding grounds, it looks so bright and cheerful. Also, as the clubhouse became more spacious than before, it's so comfortable. Membership system is same as other clubs of CRANE. Then, if you stay in IBARAKI a year or two, I recommend to be a member and enjoy horseback riding fully for a moderate charge (1,575 yen/45 min.).
Free shuttle bus services are available between JR Sanuki Station and the Club. For detail, call 0297-62-9998.
Closed on Tuesday, and Wednesday morning.
